Why we built it
Every football fan has been there: the coach takes a knee into a timeout, punts on fourth-and-short, or runs up the middle with the clock bleeding out — and you're screaming at the screen. This game turns that argument into a challenge: here's a real situation with the real clock and the real score. You call it. Then we show you what the numbers say about every call you made.
What makes it different
- Real situations — every drive starts from a real game, with the real score, clock, down, distance and timeouts.
- Real plays — when you call a run off tackle, the snap plays out with a real off-tackle run from a similar late-game spot.
- Real stakes — you go head-to-head with what the real sideline actually did, and see whether you beat them.
- One drive a day — like your favourite daily word game, but with more yelling.
The data
Everything is built on public play-by-play data published by nflverse (CC BY 4.0). Win-probability grades are our own estimates derived from that data. No accounts, no paywalls: your streak and history live in your browser.
